Our League

Suniland now plays hockey year-round. We offer Adult 'A' and 'B' leagues, 2 exciting High School divisions, a JV league, a 13-under division, and an instructional, yet competitive program for those boys and girls ages 4 through 10. The rink is located adjacent to Palmetto Golf Course on SW 152nd Street, just behind the busway on U.S. 1.

Our Mission

The Suniland Optimist Club is commited to offering a quality hockey program for all ages, one that will be competitive, yet fair and played in a clean and wholesome environment.

The league has also adopted a stance regarding profanity and unnecessary play:

1) Any player using profanity that can be heard by spectators will be penalized.

2) Any coach using profanity that can be heard by spectators will be removed from the game and face further disciplinary action.

3) If, in the opinion of the league director and the Suniland Hockey Executive Committee, a player exhibits conduct which is detrimental to the league and its mission, he/she shall be suspended for the remainder of the season.

Adults - Season starts May 22. Don't be left out!
